Requested application access not granted

Hello, I'm developing an app, that needs SwEvent capability (keycapture).

The installer gives me an error "Requested application access not granted". So I signed my app using Symbian Signed online, as described here.

But the phone still shows the error and I'm unable to install. Python 2.0.0, Nokia 6220

You have to also specify that capability in the "Additional options" field when making the sis file:

--caps=SwEvent

It's usually a good idea to specify all the capabilities.

Yes, of course I added --caps=SwEvent and same problem.

What does your application exactly do? I believe this is because it requires other unmentioned capabilities.

Anyway try the following caps, in the PyS60 application manager. I think we also need to mention other caps, otherwise the SIS will only have 'SwEvent' in your case

--caps=LocalServices+ReadUserData+WriteUserData+NetworkServices+UserEnvironment+SwEvent

Hello, I tried all these capabilities: LocalServices+ReadUserData+WriteUserData+NetworkServices+UserEnvironment+SwEvent+Location and same problem.

My problem:

My app is working with GPS and network.

My app packaged to SIS works fine with these capabilities: Location+NetworkServices. Installer succesfully installs it.

Then I've added dependency on keycapture module and added capability SwEvent and phone returns "Requested application access not granted".

I'm sure that problematic capability is SwEvent.
