Record downlink while mic mute Not working on latest FP1 firmware

Recording downlink only is not working with latest firmware update on FP1 devices, is there any new approach to get the old behaviour

seem this issue is a standard feature in 3.2 and 5.0 platforms and is also propagated to 3.1 devices with latest firmware version.

Test case to evaluate the buggy behaviour

Steps to reproduce
1.Make a GSM call and press Mute after call establish.
2.Run voicerecorder while call in progress ensure that recorder is in foreground
3.End call after few seconds say after 10sec and stop the recoder simultanesouly
results: FP1 Old firmware
4.Recorder records only telephony downlink.
results: FP1 New firmware
4.Recorder records both telephony Uplink and downlink.

Is there any quick fix on FP1 new firmware version, or this BUG will be a new standard feature on all platforms

can you let us know which API you are using with version ? that might give us some clue.

APIs used:

1. Its Phone Client Extension API to mute microphone and
2. CMdaAudioRecorderUtility to record telephony downlink.

FP1 Device version:

1.Working with FP1 device E66 software version: 210.21.007
2.Not working with E66 software version: 300.21.012

sorry no idea why it is not muting this version of the firmware. Still i will try getting a E66 and try on my side and let you know.
