Newbie compiling problem

I get the following error when trying to run an executable I've compiled in Qt Creator:

"This application has failed to start because mingwm10.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

This also happens if I compile any of the example projects. I have changed the project settings from 'debug' to 'release' but to no avail.

Would somebody please be kind enough to tell me how I get a self contained executable.
