Hi,

I tried registering to OVI but realized that it expects a real company, that is I need to enter a company name, VAT/Tax ID, etc..

Isn't it possible for private persons to publish to ovi?

currently only companies are allowed to be publicers at the Ovi, so possibilities on publishing as a private person available at this point of time.

Is it still not possible to publish content by the private person since there is a "Personal account" option in regitration form?

Nowadays a single person can also publish applications and games through Ovi Store. This has been possible for a few months now.

Dear publishers,
Ovi publish accepts registration from both company and individual. You will have to make the correct selection during registration to indicate what type of account you're registering for.

My question was actually about possibility of publishing paid content to ovi.
I've noticed that I can choose between two types of account but I'm wondering if there are some limitations in content which you are about to publish (due to some legal stuff or something).
In other words: can developer with "Personal" account publish paid content?

Yes. However, publishing ringtones, themes and wallpapers requires special, fairly expensive, insurance. But you can publish games and other applications for free or for a fee.
