N900 To sell or not to sell?

Hello Nokia team

Could someone clear up an issue I have with developing for the N900 device. I was once selling (i.e. NOT FREE) content for the N900 device, but have since been told by the QA team that all content for the N900 should be FREE! I have now noticed that there is content being sold for this device. Could someone tell me whether or not we can start selling content for this device?

Publishers can only publish free contents for N900 at this moment.
Do you remember which content you saw that a was paid content for N900? If you do, please email the name and maybe a link in the Ovi Store to publishtoovi.support@nokia.com, and we will look into it.

Hi Pixeltheme,

I should modify my answer from last time. Some contents, such as wallpapers and videos, are allowed to be paid contents.
We are working on allowing all types of contents to be paid contents.

BTW: this is not stubbornness on Nokia's side, but rather to protect us, the publishers.

Be made aware that theres a nasty hole in the paid app for N900 catalogue, which allows for easy content theft.

Nokia is aware of it though...
