    Hello,
For my master thesis I'm trying to migrate file formats from mobile devices for long-term archiving. I'm particularly interested in the formats used by Symbian based devices. There exists word processing and calculation tools storing their data in an EPOC format. Is there some official documentation about the EPOC word and calc documents available? Or are there tools to convert EPOC files to other formats? The available synchronization tools require a connected mobile devices. However if such a device is not at hand, are there other options?
By now I have found these tools for this purpose: PsiWin 2.3.3 and the open source tool Psiconv. However they are not able to convert my example documents from a Nokia 9300i.

    Thanks for any hint!

    Best regards,
    Mike

Your question is somewhere at the border of developer-specific/end-user topics, you may have better chances to get file format specifications here, however converter tools are (were) more probably discussed on the end-user site, http://www.nokia.com/discussions
