Embedded fonts problem

I'm using dynamic text, where the text is "Bitmap text [no anti-alias]", font is Verdana, embedding the required characters (have to, due to text rotation issue). Strangely, it works only with limited font sizes. 24 pt works fine, 25 and above doesn't.
In addition, "bold" doesn't work.
I have Verdana installed, including Verdana Bold. Font size issue is bothering, as it limits my design options.
Any clue why?

About the bold problem, if your textfield is not bold at design time and you are doing this programatically, you need to embed the font in normal style, but in bold too (for example, creating an empty textfield outside the scene, setting it to bold and embeding the characters).
