WRT and device central

I am just getting started with Nokia WRT with Guarana framework. Is there possibilities to port the .wgz file in adobe device central, i tried porting in 5800 but it says unrecognized file format, but I did it through Remote device access. Any suggestion on this!

Ca you specify a bit more on what it was excatly you tried to do and how. Nokia 5800 would only support Nokia WRT Widgets, which would need to be made according to the specifications.

Hi,
I am trying some Gurana components like textlabel, radiobutton etc to get familiar with the framework. I use Aptana IDE to develop and package the widgets. Now i need to test the widgets in Nokia 5800. I can able to test the package in Remote device access, but what was my concerns is instead of keep waiting for the device to be free and test it. I wish to test the same in device central where i have profile for 5800. Now my questions is, IS it possible to test the widgets in Adobe device central? if yes then how to do it.

Hi Viswa,

you cannot test a WRT widget inside Adobe's Device Central. Anyway, if your widget contains Flash Lite components, you can test these inside the Device Central.

Current testing solutions for WRT widgets currently are:

* Aptana WRT Plugin simulator
* RDA
* real device
