    Hi,

I'm trying to run the sensor_explorer example from http://qt.gitorious.org/qt-mobility/...ensor_explorer in Nokia Qt SDK, on the Qt Simulator.

It compiles fine and is launched correctly but it cannot detect any sensors. In fact that's exactly the same behavior with all the sensors example: no sensor is detected.

Are the sensors supported in the Qt Simulator? I guess so since you can simulate the changes of the accelerometers values, orientation values, etc... So how do we activate them?

    Thanks
    Jérôme

    Hi

AFAIK, sensors in Qt Simulator are turned off by default
Run the simulator and turn it on in the settings window

    Hi,

I've try to activate everything I could find in the "Simulate" part of the simulator but it doesn't change anything. Is there a "settings" dialog somewhere (couldn't find any...)?

    Thanks for your help

    Hi,

as mainguet already stated, there was a bug in the beta version of the Nokia Qt SDK. Just download the final 1.0 version and the sensors should work as expected in the Simulator.

    Cheers
    Olli
