Unified FN search not fetching relevant results!!!

Hi All,
I recently have tried many times to get code snippets related to UI like dialogs etc. For that I used the unified search presented at the top right of this site, but the search results were not at all relevant. Most of the times, issues from the KB rather than code snippets from wiki were shown as more relevant . I think it's time that the search was tweaked to give more relevant results.Else the forum will keep on having posts which have been answered umpteenth times.

Thank you for your feedback and notes about using the FN search!

It would be interesting to see what kind of searches you tried to attempt, when the results were not what you had expected.
Would you like to share one of two examples?

Here below is one example of a search I had just created. In that I was using the unified search on the top right and gave
to it content of something like this : "code snippet WRT UI".

http://www.forum.nokia.com/search/?e...&submit=Search

The results I got did suit at least my purposes quite well. As I do not know how you did create your search I could not
do comparison to determine whether the result list relevancy differs.

Anyhow, I will forward your feedback to the site admin, and he may also provide an answer here directly himself.

Did not fetch me any thing significant!!

Hi,
this problem is known.

I usually just use Google, and the site: operator. It tends to work better!
