nokia 6600 standby white screen

Hi everyone.....i have problem in my Nokia 6600.From past few months suddenly my phone shows nokia screen(which is used to show when we switch on the phone)...i didnt restarted or done nothing suddenly this nokia screen comes.I still dont know why it is showing nokia screen , when i press any key that screen doesnt go. All i have to do is remove battery and again switch on the phone...pls help i dont know why this happens?????
