3gp video disappears with orientation sensor in N79

Hi,

I have quite a weird problem when I change the orientations of my N79, while playing 3gp videos (both local and through rtsp server) in my FL3.0/AS 2.0 application using 'play' method of the video object instance. The video disappears when the handset is alternated between the portrait and the landscape orientations. With the slighest of jerk, the video disappears, while only the audio is heard.

For now I have known this problem to occur only on the N79 that I use. Any clue?

device video playback is only in portrait mode.
So my guess it's a bug in the FL player.

Hi,

I am able to view the video in both the modes individually. But when the display readjusts itself in the alternation, the video disappears.

By the 'FL Player', do you mean there is a problem with the application or with that of the handset?

Ciao,

since it uses the device video player within the FL content it cannot be resized, moved or modified.
So, the fact that the video disappear might be a bug in the player but device video play back it's only in portrait mode.
That's how is implemented.

Does it re-appear on rotating back to Portrait mode? Hvae you tried resizing the video window on orientation change?

No I havent tried resizing the video and it doesnt reappear otherwise.

I had mailed you the code and the application SIS a couple of days back.
