    Hi,
I have installed an application which is 40MB(SIS file) size in N97 mini.
I am getting the error "Not enough memory to open the file".
Mass Storage : 5GB free space
    C: 50MB free space.

Even I have tried to install in both the drives.

When this will come ? What is this mean ?
    Regards,
    Sunitha.M

Actually, I have taken a swf file & the dependent contents & created sis file using this link : http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...arbide.c%2B%2B

So, What could be the reason ? Do I need to re-check regarding the heap based variables I use ?
    Regards,

    hi,

yes check the heap memeory variable that you are using and free it, when its not used.

if it still fails, you can always increase the heap and stack memory from the mmp file.

    Ciao,

what is the size of your swf?
The Flash Lite player on the N97 Mini has 20M available to playback swf content.

Also did you test your content in Device Central?

    Ciao,

    your swf seems too big.
Remember that when the Flash Lite player plays back the swf, it uses more memory.
Also all the images in the swf are first uncompressed before they are displayed, so their actual size the bigger.

Does your test in Device Central show memory consumption above the limits?

    Hi,

You can try not compressing the SWF and see the actual SWF. This will you an idea.

You can use Oxygen Toolkit to see realtime memory usage. http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...Developers_Kit

swf size 9M, that's some... and if all 9MB are in on frame, then that is the problem...

your swf works if not packed in sis? because when you packed to sis, you lose some flash heap memory...
