In my application i am using j2mepolish, in every high end display, i am able to apply css predefined styles like title, menubar. But for canvas screen this css is not working, can u suggest me any idea.

From my opnion we cant directly use CSS styles in J2ME.
J2ME Polish is one of BEST UI Design,I am using since last 2.5 years. They are still in beta but they have improved UI Styles in there new version Released.

For UI Design to Canvas you can use de.enough.polish.ui.Canvas

just as a side-note, my personal experience is that LWUIT offers quite some capabilities and you will eb starting off very fast with that, unfortunately my experience with J2ME polish has been a love-hate one... I love it's capabilities, I hate the fact that it's a pain to get working, and they have very very outdated documentation, especially regarding the installation and getting it to work properly hte first times... Just have a look around in the forum and you will see what a hell it is to get it to work... It's not as easy as installing and you're ready to go...
