Hi all i have also tried to purchase two apps yesterday and today and i am getting the same error what is going on?
Can you provide more details so I can try to get more info:
- what devices are you trying to purchase on?
- what country are you in and your mobile operator?

two devices, 5530XM and X6.
Both on Vipnet - Croatia.
Purchasing via CC / MasterCard fails with that System Error.
If you have a Croatian network operator's SIM card, is the credit card also issued by a Croatian bank?
Have you tried some other credit card?

I am now receiving this error message as soon as I click on Buy and confirm password - before entering any CC details (at least it used to ask for CC details).
this issue stays since May till now??? just tried (twice) to buy an app and given error "We are experiencing problems with the payment service" after confirm credit card info.
i am connecting thru telco (Starhub Singapore) 3G network, with Citibank Visa, that is successfully used to purchase Ovi Map license last year on the same machine (e71)
wrote to PublishToOvi.Support@nokia.com with screenshots few days ago, nobody follows up...

But it's working fine when I create new account on ovi.
