Wordwrap problem with ChoiceElements when deployed on N70

Long strings in the ChoiceElements are not displayed completely on the N70 instead only the text that can be contained in the Screen is shown followed by ... But it works fine for the text on ChoiceGroup i.e it wraps it to the next line. I find this problem only when deployed, it works fine in the emulator. Though I have set the TextPolicy Word_Wrap as true.

Is this a problem with the application deployed on N70 or a generic issue?

I dont think it wil be possible to use Low level GUI stuff cause there are lot of forms. Is there any other way out apart from creating CustomItem. Some fix in the Choice Element??

Which SDK emulator are you using for testing this?

Based on your description this sounds like a limitation which is specific for certain S60 Edition and is similar to this Known Issue in Forum Nokia Wiki:

KIJ000703 - String items longer than 40 characters get truncated when placed on Form in S60 2nd Edition, FP3 phones

Am using the emulator that comes with the Netbeans IDE.
