Nokia Qt SDK and UI Extensions for Mobile

Hi

I have downloaded and installed the SDK. Love it.

I want to know how I should go about getting the UI Extensions for Mobile included into that? Does anyone have a link or a howto that they can share?

Is at all possible? I have tried to compile the UI Extensions for Mobile from the Qt prompt evironment created by the SDK installer but I am getting some errors.

Anyway, would like to know if someone else is trying the same or has gotten it to work.

Yes ,,you can extend the UI using Qt Quick: A new way to build animated, pixel-perfect touch-enabled UIs with Qt and for that you have to download the Qt Beta Qt application framework 4.7.

As far as I know, Qt Quick and UI Extensions for Mobile are not the same thing. I am speaking of the UI extensions found here: http://qt.gitorious.org/uiemo

The team is working on it , And they are making UI extension in Qt,
So you just download the master preview available there at this link:

As you noticed Uiemo is not part of Nokia Qt SDK and another thing about SDK it's not designed to be extended by installing extra libraries. You can build Uiemo binaries and try to place them manually into Nokia Qt SDK directories, but there is no guarantee it will work.

Thanks for the reply. That is exactly what I am trying. Compiling the extensions and adding them to the SDK. I was hoping that someone has tried that already and can give some pointers.
