It is a subjective thing, but I find it hard to "read"
    - blue and gray shades of icons are too close to each other, it is especially disturbing where the icons are the same otherwise (e.g. "branching" icon of boards)
    - the envelope icons are just slightly better, since they are fading towards light shades on their top, thus some effort is required for deciding if the envelope is closed or it "contains" some pages
    - small thin white letters on light gradient green background do not read well (dates of posts, etc.)

And I really don't know if I read some of forum thread or not.
In old version I know it because name of forum thread was bold or not.

Yes, after posting I was thinking a bit if there was some other clue besides the icons, and yes, it was the bold / non-bold thing.

True..a convinent way to identify the posts already read. This 'feature' is a preferable one to bring back.

It should be bold or not, I'll look into it.

It may just be that since the update everything is marked unread

It appears to me that on a list the thread has a little icon on the right of the threat icon indicating if it was read or not. On a forum the bold and light still work for the icon. After realizing the differences between threads and forums I like the threads better.

I also liked using bold font to identify new posts. I think this could be added to the new layout to reinforce this.

It's really hard to read (identifying new posts) forum now.

New posts are easier to identify now they have what looks like a down button next to the icon showing if it is read or not. The shading was difficult to read. The Forums are still shaded when read or not.

I'll see if we can get a legend of the different symbols.
