    Copy armel Debian package to the device and try to open it from File Manager.

    Hi,
    Mobility packages are now official Nokia packages and they are in the "Nokia Applications" catalogue.
    They won't be uploaded to extras-devel anymore.

    id of that repository is nokia-certified, other two are nokia-system and ovi.
    However, none of them succeed.
    Code:
    [install]
    catalogues = nokia-system
    package   = libqtm-location
    Code:
    [install]
    catalogues = nokia-certified
    package   = libqtm-location
    Code:
    [install]
    catalogues = ovi
    package   = libqtm-location

    So is it safe to say there is absolutely no way to install qtmobility-location?

    The only way is to be root in X_Terminal?

    No, it's not safe. I think if you install application, which has libqtm-location as a dependency, it will fetch the library automatically.

    Then install it from XTerminal with commands:
    Code:
    sudo gainroot
    dpkg -i /home/user/PATH_TO_PAKAGE/PACKAGE.deb
    Note that capital letters in package name are not allowed.

    Hi Daniil,

    I tried to install libqtm-location.install file, in the provided by you (http://repository.maemo.org/extras-d...antle/install/)
    But its failed to install. By the log file i came to know that internally its fetching wrong file path i.e, http://repository.maemo.org/extras-d...armel/Packages

    Here are my catalog settings
    Name: Extras-devel
    Web Address: http://repository.maemo.org/extras-devel/
    Distribution: fremantle
    Components: free non-free

    Could you let me know where I'm wrong, if you have understanding on this.

    Regards
    Rajini
