JSmartcam + Nokia 6300 capture://video problem

Goodday,
Really hope someone can help me, as I'm a total noob in this.

I try to run Jsmartcam on my 6300 all ok, up and untill I start capture, it returns an error:
javax.microedition.media.MediaException: Only capture://image locator supports getSnapshot()
Msg: Only capture://image locator supports getSnapshot()

Smartcam will now exit!

What to do, as I'm really stuck on this over the past 3 weeks.

We can help you if you can edit and rebuild the J2me code of Jsmartcam application, just change the capture://video to capture://image for 6300 and it will be able to capture images from Camera...

This, however, only uses the photocam, and it'll show no streaming video. I recon streaming vid is not working with N6300?

As this application is for webcam view, you can use it with the change i suggested to streaming continuous snapshots one after another .... which will give webcam like view on the other end... on slow networks.

Nokia 5130 XpressMusic gives an error
javax.microedition.media.MediaException: Only capture://image locator supports getSnapshot() Msg: Only capture://image locator supports getSnapshot() SmartCam will now exit.

I tried the other jar file ' jSmartCam-parcheado.jar', as dejavu told it's just images on an interval of 1 second plus the click sound,I tried changing the code as mentioned and then it gives out an application error.

where should I add this line 'mVideoControl.setVisible(true);' as mentioned in this thread, that's the only thing I have to try now.
