Help! Qt string display works on emulator but not on the phone

I have a very basic qt program. It works very well on emulator. The problem is about text display in QLabel, QButton and any Widget. I have a Nokia 5230 international edition with all languages supports. The program works well. All language strings are displayed correctly. But I have a N97 us version, which only support five language. No text is displayed at all in all widgets, including English. In some situations, string will be displayed as KKKKKKK, with or without tr(). Is there any body can tell me what's wrong? Thanks.

Welcome to the Qt DIBO.

If your mobile phone has installed the language that you are talking then it should display the known character.

If it is not displaying English also then there is problem in the language setup of your phone.
