how to create debug package for qt maemo 5??

I'm talking about debian/rules. But any way. There is a sample source package producing debug package using debhelper

When we creating .deb package the packager will create .tar.gz tar ball
is it the debug package??

No, this is tarball with sources. Debug package contains -dbg in the name.

I gave you a sample package. dpkg-buildpackage will produce a debug package along with a binary package.

when we install debug package in nokia n900 mobile phone do we need any desktop link to our application.
for example we have desktop icon for production deb package, like wise do we need any desktop link to debug package?
