Mediaplayer with Qt

I am searching for a possibility to play music files and streams with Qt. I tried this http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...ng_Qt_Mobility example from the wiki, but did not manage to make it work (well, i am very new to programming for symbian). Does someone know a more precise example code with either QtMultimedia or Phonon API to make it work? Would be very very nice.

As you are new to the programming in Qt for S60, Before you use the Qt mobility API, you have to setting up the environment for that how to set the environment is given in the article that you have given link. http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...ng_Qt_Mobility
This code is tested and works fine.

Qt Mobility comes with Nokia Qt SDK. After you have installed Nokia Qt SDK, if you have a Symbian device, you can install Qt and Qt Mobility libraries to your device from:

Windows start menu -> Nokia Qt SDK beta -> Symbian -> "Install Qt libraries/QtMobility to Symbian Device"

Just to make clear that I don't understand something wrong. When I have installed the Nokia Qt SDK, the Qt Mobility API should work on the emulator directly. Only if I'd like to run it on the device I have to install the Qt and Qt Mobility API's on the device. Am I right? Thanks for confirmation.:-)

Yes, that's true. However, in future Qt will be pre-installed on the devices.

Hmm...it seems that my QtCreator from this example http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...ng_Qt_Mobility cannot find the <qmediaplayer.h> and the <qmediaplaylist.h> header files. As I am new to Qt, I have no idea how to solve this. Did I make something wrong in the installatin of the Nokia Qt SDK? Would be very nice if you can share your ideas if you have any. Thanks in advance.

update:
With the new Qt Mobility API (I think 1.0.1) it works and all files are recognized. Now it compiles without errors.

As I know that NOKIA Qt SDK contains all API which are in the Qt mobility, No need to install it(Qt mobility).
