jar files problems

ok i used to have jar apps in my n78 then i formated my memory card .
then i tried to install it using both my memory card n phone memory, but my phone only shows "installing........." i waited for quite sometime, is still "installing............" and after quite a while it says unable to install.. is only the jar files, the sis files still can be installed.. i tired to uninstall the jar files and reinstall again also the same... the
installing............" bar still there..
Hope u can understand wat im trying to say.. thanks!

If your memory card has some problem then it will create during the setup of the .jar file.
The common problem during the installation of the jar file are given below :

As you have formated the memory card, try formating your phone also using #codes and then try to install the jar's again they might work.

hey the problem is not my in my memory card because i tried to install the jar files in the phone memory also.
i tried to install the same files on a 5800 xpress music it works fine. please i need some help on this.
also i can't format my phone because i forgot my security code.
please if you can help me on this...

The problem in your phone memory where you have the traces of already installed jar apps that you are trying to install again.
Try factory reset everything on your device or try firmware update - as you have lost the security code.... take help of Nokia Care - Nokia Service center.

second can i update my firmware wihtout knowing the security code?

Looks difficult, please take help of Customer support - Nokia Service center.

Try installing any new J2me app OTA like Opera Mini J2me browser from internet and see if it works.

It proves the problem is with your device, get is hard formated and its firmware updated - take the help of Nokia Service.
