I'm wondering if any other developers are seeing the same problem I am. I'm seeing it on a Nokia E55, and it looks like a regression in the most recent (or starting in the second most recent) Nokia-issued software update.
Here's the problem:
1. Start playback of any audio file (e.g. MP3 file) in the Nokia Media Player on the phone.
2. Pause playback.
3. Either place or receive a voice call. (Even an unanswered inbound call will do, apparently.)
4. After the call completes, the Media Player resumes playback of the audio file, unprompted.
Basically the phone assumes that any paused audio stream must be unpaused after voice call termination, whether the original state was paused or not. This is obviously a problem, in particular for unattended phones.
Is anybody else seeing the same problem?
