coordinates of click

Hi,

I'd like to find out the (x,y) position from a click, mousedown event or similar.
Please can someone let me know which event to listen to and which event properties to check for x and y?

The events and properties I have tried do not seem to work (though they will work fine from a standard browser).

Thanks. Tracking the "mouse" position with mouse move works a treat :-)

FYI, for anyone else in a similar situation, only the following coordinate properties seem to be available: pageX, pageY, clientX, clientY, screenX, screenY.

x, y, offsetX, offsetY don't seem to be available.

out of curiosity: did you manage to implement continuous touch tracking (so, something like drag'n'drop), or are you getting the coordinates of a single click?
