J2ME rtsp streaming in s40

I looked everywhere but couldn't find a clear answer.

Which s40 platforms support rtsp streaming?

There are two places wherre you will be getting a guaranteed answer where you haven't looked yet :
The Developer's Library (http://library.forum.nokia.com/)
and this very same Forum, cause this has been asked several times, so as a very helpfull tip : use the Search funtionality (Advanced Discussion Search) on the top-left side of the screen...

Some sources say it's possible in s40 3rd edition FP2 or higher

Others say s60 2nd edition or higher

Which one is true?

Just try to stick with the more officiali resources, the Library will tell you (in the implementations chapter) from which S40 rtsp streaming is supported and how (JAD attribute)...
S60's is another story, even old devices support rtsp streaming, they just call the internal player (most times it's a realplayer)... I think, but I can't remember correctly, that even the MediaPlayer from the MMAPI can play those...
