How to turn on the phone?

Hello.

I make a program which must turn off and turn on the phone. I use CTimer class to rise events. In SDK documentation is written about At() method: "if the machine is in a turned off state at that time, the machine will be turned on again".

So I try to use this method to turn on the phone. But it is not work.

May be there is another way to turn on the phone?

Because the alarm can do it, I guess that exists programm interface for it.

I suppose you can restart the phone but there is no any public API avaible to turn ON the phone after its goes OFF.

What mean, in this case, phrase: "if the machine is in a turned off state at that time, the machine will be turned on again"?

May be "turn off state" is some like standby mode?

Are u Talking about "Offline Mode" & phone on mode.. in which device u r trying your process..

That sentence in the SDK Help is simply nonsense (actually it also appears in RTimer::At). When the device is switched off, your application is shut down, so does its connection to the timer. Thus the request itself can not exist any more, even if the timer service would have the ability to power on the device.
You can try if RScheduler is capable of booting the device (the Wiki has many hits, however I have no experience with it).
If it does not work, you can still try combining RScheduler and RASCliSession (the Alarm Server client), and see if Task Scheduler can launch your code when the Alarm Server wakes up the device.

RScheduler does not boot the device for me. need to check RASCliSession

Yes, I want to switch off phone and switch it on later.
I write code to switch off the phone, and now I want to now how to switch on the phone.

I guess this right way.
Usualy, when alarm happen, the phone play the sound(I going to do silent alarm). Later, if press "stop" button, phone ask you, should he turn on the phone. So, I going to force the "yes" answer by the alarms's settings.

first is....Alarm and

second is .... charger progress bar(when charger pin is connected)

so if tht event works........thn is it not possible to on the phone in switched off state.?

AFAIK, there are no public APIs for doing that.

Finaly, I've used this way.
But it does't completely satisfy end users.

User must hear an alarm sound, press a couple of keys and might be enter a pin code to get the phone switched on.

In SDK documentation written:
"ClientFlags()
inline TBitFlags16 &ClientFlags();
Description
Returns a writable version of the alarm's client flags.
The client flags may be used for any client-specific data - the alarm server does not use them."
Test application (UID3 from 0xE... range, certification online) work right in power-on mode, but don't work in power-off mode (model phone N73).
Is method in TSS001128 really work?
