I'm trying to install Nokia Qt SDK 1.0 to a Win 7 machine to which I had previously installed and uninstalled qt-sdk-win-opensource-2010.02.1

There seem to be some lingering footprints from the previous install that are tripping up the new install. I uninstalled the old SDK, deleted a couple of folders I could still see hanging around, and then during the install I checked the "Remove old Qt Creator settings" box. But when installing the component Symbian SDK I still get the following error which tells me the install still "sees" something from the old SDK. I can't ignore my way around this error -- it completely trashes the install.

    Error during installation process:
The installer was not able to get the old path from C:\NokiaQtSDK\SymbianSDK\bin\qmake.exe. (maybe it is broken or removed. ...) this could result in a broken Qt version.

Which in practice is true. If I ignore my way around the problem, the install later fails because it can't copy some files into a directory it's looking for which doesn't exist.

    Here's the screen shot:

    What am I missing?

Please make this a bugreport at the Qt Bugtracker (Nokia Qt SDK component).

I'm getting the same problem. I was trying to install Nokia QT SDK few times, and avery time I got this error.
Any ideas how to handle that problem?
    Any workaround?
