    Hi.

    I have create bit map Language library to render Hindi Language on mobile screen. I dont want to use my library if the mobile supports Hindi unicode.

    Can anyone please tell me How to confirm the availability of Hindi Unicode support in device using j2me code.?

    You can check for the System Property "microedition.locale" It retrieves the name of the current locale on the device.
    For example, “en-US”.

    Hi..

    For Example, if you run that code in nokia 6300 . It will return "en". But the device also supports hindi and other languages.

    Please tell me how to confirm the availablity of other languages in the mobile using j2me code.

    Hi,

    There is no such API's available in j2me If the user set the his phone menu language as Hindi from settings then it will give . In your case you need to Know the list of locales available in the phone.
