How to get ESN or MEID for CDMA devices

I need to get ESN or MEID for CDMA devices.
How it can be done in j2me.
Which API should be used to achieve that.

I'm afraid there is no API to get this information. What device (or devices) are you developing for, and why do you want this information?

Actually, I need unique device id (i.e. IMEI. ESN, MEID ) to store some information about device.
I am developing for Nokia 6275 and samsung M519 and other CDMA devices.
Is there any other solution which can uniquly identify the device except IMEI, ESN and MEID?

I don't think you'll get any such information from the Nokia. From the Samsung... maybe... take a look at the Samsung developer site.

Options for creating something like a "customer" ID include:

* Have the server insert an ID into the JAD at download-time.
* Connect to a server the first time you run the app, to retrieve an ID.
* Generate a large random number on the device.
