Overlays on Maps

I am developing a maps-based application on WRT and find that certain types of directions and markers that are placed on maps are not displayed well. I am using a custom Map and not Google Maps.

For example, going to http://gothere.sg/api/maps/examples/...th-marker.html from the Nokia browser doesnt display any marker. Or in simple, some GMarkers and GDirections are not displayed on the Nokia browser. Gothere specifications claim maximum compatibility with Google Maps..

Can anyone advise me how to get those markers / map overlays working on the phone ?

Does it work if you try to directly open the image URL in the browser?

Yes.. Its the same PNG image that is being used as the marker.
The Image shows up when I open it on the Nokia browser..

It is not just about this marker but directions drawn on the maps too.

Navigating to this URL from my phone, doesn't show directions or the markers. And hence, I feel any form of map overlays are not rendered by the Nokia browser..

Any comments ?

Have you tried using google maps version 3?

I am facing the same problem in both platform.. i already use google map javascript api and gothere api also but no route displayed in widget
