[Moved] New message alert tone when receiving delivery report

Hello all, i'm writing a messaging application. i'm using sms operation from wiki. My problem is, after sending a sms, when i get delivery report, i always get a new message alert tone. This happens when the application is open. Is it for something in HandleSessionEventL function?

I have not seen that happening since I was using 3210 back in 2000. So are you somehow handling the incoming delivery report and what device are you using ?

No. I'm just using the "sms operation" from wiki. And my device is 5800 xpress music.

So if your code is not running, then the delivery reports are not having the alert tone ?

And what are the excat things you do with the "sms operation", can you try commenting some parts out, so you could pin-point the actual code that causes the problem ?

There are plenty of code parts there, so do re-read the post #4 I wrote, and try doing what I suggested.
