Hi,
On a pure touch screen interface such a N8 for instance how do I invoke a QWERTY keyboard for input when a line edit is selected?
Thanks!

Tap the line edit widget and you get what you get.
Do you have a screenshot? Please and thank-you.
So on a device such as an N8 QLineEdit's selection event will call an on-screen keyboard. I'll try it out but if you have a screenshot that'll be awesome.
Many thanks.
I know that programmers need to program but like how there's a built in DateTime widget and other built in widgets I'd imagine that it would be important to have a built in keypad for pure touch UI. If it isn't there I can make it. If I knew I wouldn't be asking!![]()

I don't have an N8 to take a screen shot. But that's what you do -- tap the line edit widget. What comes up is device-dependent, but it's all you get -- on option to change/adjust it.
