Live stream from mobile camera to PC ?

I am thinking of developing an application that can stream live video from my mobile to PC throw the internet ( Wi-Fi or 3G internet connection ) . anyway I found allot of programs that do the same thing ( but over bluetooth or usb cable ) which means it is possible .
So can I do it with java ?
if so what do you suggest me to read / study ?

Why has nobody answered? Because over the weekend less people read these boards. And anyway in general, give a few days time for people to answer :-)

What comes to your original question: That is a little trickier to achieve with Java ME. In general you do not have access to the the recorded video until you stop recording. So you need to record the video in short segments and send those video segments one by one to the receiving PC in the background while recording the next segment in another thread.

If the purpose is just to use your mobile cam as web camera, you can also try Videocontrol.getSnapshot(null) to capture snapshots at quick interval and write it to a socket connection open on PC over wifi - it would be simpler then BT.

I asked this question about a year earlier and now one answered me that's why I was wondering
anyway I think I will go for the procedure that hartti suggested . if I have no better option .
but we are looking for how small interval ? I mean what is the average minimum recorde video length ?
and is that the procedure used by the programs I mentioned ? or there is a way , like recording to remote storage media instead of recording to the phone memory ?
