[Moved] failing to install 2 sis files

hi everyone,
i am trying to install 2 sis files on my real device,
i succeeded to instal the first one normaly but the problem i am facing is when i try to instal the second one. in fact , the device is giving me a msg saying that updated is failed
and the pc giving an error saying that the application that you are trying to install is already running on the phone,plz close the application before trying to re-install it.
nite that the UID of the 2 applications is different
can anyone help me with that?
any help will be appreciate.

Are you sure that the UID of the second doesn't duplicate the UID of something already on the box? Carbide, in particular, is famous for passing out duplicate "random" UIDs.

Also (duh!) make sure that there's sufficient space on the drive for what you're installing (plus a goodly amount more).

the update error would basically come up, when some parts of the sis are already in the device, but were installed with different sis file. so Check the UID's as well as all file names and make sure they are fully unique.
