Nokia assigned UID is not found in your SIS file

Hi All

got this again and again
I'm deploying Qt app with smartinstaller
There is an <appname>_installer.sis which is have UID 0xA000xxxx
inside it there is 2 sis files: one is smartinstaller, second is actually application
Application sis has _correct_ Nokia assigned UID

I think, QA team just checking that <appname>_installer.sis, seeing 0xA000xxxx and generating the negative response

How to make them to look deeper?

The question is how to push QtCreator to change the UID of the installer package?

IMHO, you can set it in the PRO file.

Then, rebuild and enjoy!

Unfortunately. I cannot.

At least I didn't saw any solution for this except manually edit PKG file

Manually edit the pkg file. And keep a copy so you can restore it if it gets stomped on.

The point was really that any version control system is required (for any serious developer, so that you can keep track of builds, versions, changes, etc.). What version control system you use, doesn't matter as much; main thing is to use something (and back it up, too).
