What is R-UIM ?

HI

I have a good compatible handset where web tv option is available, but when I am trying to use that feature the message appear , "please upgrade to R-UIM to access this features" !

I would like to know what is this R-UIM? and how can I upgrade my cell phone to this feature?

Hi,

R-UIM stands for the Removable - user identity module ., sometimes also called Re- Usable identity module.
This kind of cards are developed for the CDMA phones to extend the GSM SIM to CDMA phones.
This card contains the SIM application which work on both the network of GSM and CDMA.
