How use GPS in Symbian Qt 4.6.3.

Hi All,

i want to access longitude , latitude, city and street information with using GPS in Qt 4.6.3 . so please tell me that how will i do this. How will i use GPS in Qt Symbian.

one more thing can i get particular landmark with GPS in Qt. i Am using s60 5th edition and qt4.6.3, and mobile
extension package. i am trying to ue Locationex example, but i am geeting kern exe3 , when we open application.

Did you install Qt and Qt Mobility on your phone?

Yes, danhicksbyron is correct. Note that Mobility 1.00(2) has just been released, which says has fixed this issue: http://labs.trolltech.com/blogs/2010...-102-released/ .

Although personally I'm still having problems - my app that uses the Location API fails to start with 1.00(1) and 1.00(2), but works fine with 1.00(0). Is anyone else still having problems, or is it fixed for you (in which case my problem may be something else altogether)?

Update: Fixed my problem by recompiling my app for 1.00(2).

i am using Mobile_extensions_preview_3.zip, and i think , it support location.

pls tell me how find out the city name street name using Qt on symbian or without qt, in symbian.
