Nokia 7650, SyncML and connection problem?

Hi All,
I am trying to synchronize my Nokia 7650 with a SyncML server on Internet. I am struggling with connection problems. I set up the profile and it looks ok to me. The network connection seems to be established, but than It gives me an error such as the server is unknown (even if I put the IP address) or just hangs. The server shows no activities, so I am pretty sure it is never contacted.

Anybody managed to sync with the 7650 over the Internet? Is there anything I can check of my configuration?

Any help is very appreciated.

There is many factors that may affect connectivity.
The most important is your APN/WAP gateway combination and bearer type. The most reliable bearer is internet (http), but in most cases it require specific APN.
Proper(latest) version of Nokia SyncMl client is another important step.
Also, you may try to connect using an alternative SyncMl server.

The good example here is www.mightyphone.com .
They offer free trial, so it s enough for you.
