capture image not working on Nokia 2710

Hi friends,

I wrote a Midlet app to capture image. I tested the application on Sun Emulator, Nokia Emulator, and few S40 and S60 phones and it was working. But on 2710, It didn't worked. I was little bit confused with this behavior.

I am using the following encoding format to capture the image.

videoControl.getSnapshot("encoding=jpeg&width=360&height=270")

Can anyone please help me to find out the problem.

try videoControl.getSnapshot(null)
see if it works with default encoding and what result you get.

Hi,

I did that and it worked. That is with out encoding. But videoControl.getSnapshot(null), takes PNG as the default image format. I need jpeg images.

Hi, jithesh, i have the same problem, i wonder if you have managed to solve this problem, in this thread we should get pictures of this quality from our 2 mpx camera, I also get the same error on the emulator
