Test app before publishing on ovi

HI friends
I got Developer Certificate Key Pair,Developer Certificate Installer and UIDs from Nokia ovi store to test my app.

I have used only "Developer Certificate Key Pair" for express signing my app.

Now I am not getting how can I use this "Developer Certificate Installer "?

Can any body guide me how to proceed after getting Developer Certificate Key Pair,Developer Certificate Installer and UIDs from Nokia ovi store.

plz help me.....

Hi,

I don't know which technology you are using for development, but when I got the same details for my FlashLite apps, I created the self signed .sisx file using one of the UIDs provided by Nokia and using the developer certificate key pair for signing. Now if you want to test the application on any of the devices, you have to first install the Developer Certificate Installer on that device and then only you can install your apps .sisx . But make sure that you are installing this on any one of the devices, you sent the IMEI's of, to Nokia.
If you are satisfied with your app, you have submit this .sisx file to OVI.

This is correct. You may verify that the certificate installeris installed correctly on device by going to Settings -> Phone -> Phone mgmt. -> Security settings -> Certificate management -> Authority certificates and locating a certificate labeled OviPublishxxx.sis.

Please ensure that all the UIDs used to package your application are issued by Nokia before you resubmit your application.
