WAP Gateway problem

I am trying to configure the WAP gateway aspect of the Activ Server. I am trying to test it on the same box as the phone simulator and can't get it running. There is no indication that the simulator ever tried to connect and the simulator comes back with an error almost immediatly.

I have verified that the simulator is configured for gateways correctly, as I have connected to several. Someone please tell me how to turn on the bare bones WAP Gateway aspect?

The Simulator by default is configured for a direct access to the content server without using a gateway. You basically have to change the settings for the toolkit from direct HTTP connection to something like 'use wap gateway' at this point you also have to configure the IP and the port of the gateway. Which by default is set to a local system and the standard port and should be suitable for you.
