H.264 decoding with CMMFDevVedioPlay

Hi all,

I am using CMMFDevVideoPlay to decode MPEG-4,H.264 and H.264.MPEG-4,H.263 decoding works well and frames are displayed on the screen, but I have some problems with H.264 decoding nothing is displayed on screen. Whether i can use CMMFDevVedioPlay api to decode H.264 vedio codec or which api should be used to decode H.264.

You may want to check if the given emulator/device would play H.264 content at all (you can find specifications in the "Devices" panel above, or you can simply attempt opening such file with the File Manager). If the device can not play it, your application will unlikely succeed.

Note that moderators can and do move posts/threads if necessary, so there is no need for posting a question again just because you have found a better place.

Maybe you need to develop a codec plugin.

PS. do you use CMMFDevVideoPlay to play H.264 in MMF controller plugin? I'm studying MMF recently, but i find no success sample, it's hard to carry on, so i expect some help, thanks.

Hi all

I am using CVideoPlayerUtility api for playing h.264 and for decoding i am using CMMFDevVedioPlay api wether i can use that api for decoding of h.264.

How do use CMMFDevVedioPlay in your application? can you paste the key code of CMMFDevVedioPlay here?
