Is there any way of running a symbian app from j2me?

Hello,
I was wondering if there is any way of calling a symbian application from a j2me application.
I mean, I have an application in j2me that I would like to have a music player, but I do not want to do it again if we have one in symbian, is there any way I could invoke the native player of symbian?

And afaik it's posible to start the native player if for example you pass an rtsp stream with the PlatformRequest() method... That might work for other things as well (mp3's)... Just have a search for platformRequest() or have a look in the developer's library where the official documentation resides...

In Symbian (JRT 2.1 onwards), native applications are launched with the platformRequest(nativeapp method.

Try platformRequest("nativeapp:application-exe=MediaPlayer.exe;content=E:\Feelings.MP3;application-args=-ExampleArgument");
