tabWidget tabs caption size and font problem

As the mainwindow is shown the tabs have a given font and size .
As the device (my 5800 at least) get rotated the size and font of the tabs get the look&feel changed (and looks better to me)
it is not related to using Ui editor or by creating tabWidget on the fly.
Address book example also is affected
I have tried forceing resizeEvent without success
Any workaround ?

So what are you trying to achieve? Do you want to change font or orientation of the window?

Both orientations have their own pixel metrics in the QS60Style. When orientation change occurs, styleChange event is sent and style re-creates all the graphics and resets all pixel metrics.
Now it is entirely possible that there is a bug in the style or when setting up the geometry for the widgets.

I am not sure what is your issue (application looks better after rotation?), but if it is the tabwidget look change after two rotations (from portrait to landscape and then back), I am pretty sure that it is a bug.
I agree that it looks better afterwards.

Please report it to http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/ and we'll fix it at some point.

I dont care so much how it looks , i like using native look as is ... the fact is that as the application run the rects that contains let's say Tab1, Tab2 are 20px height (portrait) , after first rotation (landscape) resizes to 40px height . Then reach a stable state so that when rotated again and again tab caption rect height does not change.
