Qt Mobility and video frame access

Will Qt Mobility support accessing individual frames of a running video capture for N900? If the feature is not (or will not soon be) available, where can I get an interface to pick out video frames for manipulation while the camera is still running?

Previously it was done by phonon module , which was low level API.

Now using Qt multimedia API (Qt mobility) you can do it,,,
