Getting Mac Address of hotspots near to an device

I would like to know if I'll set the CommDD and NetworkControl capabilities, could I obtain Mac address of hotspots (wireless access point) near to me, other than its SSID?

The capabilities itself would not do that, you would also need to find an API that would be able to do the functionality. And when you have found the API, then check whether it would need these capabilities.

Yes, I know that..however, I would like "to reverse" the procedure. In base of the capabilities, I would like to observe what new "restricted" API I could use.In the page about sensitive application: http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...e_Applications
Firewall and HotSpot Framework uses CommDD, NetworkControl capabilities. These kind of applications might have access to mac address. I don't know really what is the API protected by these capabilities so is there a list about that?
