Which phone model? Ovi Store app or web browser UI? Which country? Which network operator's SIM card? Prepaid or postpaid? What's the item cost? Which item?

N97 mini. browser, Ukraine (but used Poland proxy), Kievstar, Prepaid, 3Eur

Tried to buy something today, got the old 'problems with the payment system'. Maybe that's your problem.

Since 2 days I notice again a steep drop in sales (around -40%). I suspect, that there are again some technical problems because user inquires of "unable to buy items" increased and also when trying to enter publish.ovi.com I often get timeouts.

Uploaded next application to Ovi, but no any moves. No any sales for a week
Ovi support says: we have no any technical issues
and suggest to me make an spotlite advertisement.
For sure, I can try google adwords or similiar, but...I just want to be sure its bad marketing on my side and nothing more

If it's an application that has just been published, you may have to wait for some time before you can see any result (one week or so).
But if it has already been selling before, and you're talking about a drop in sales, I don't know about that, I haven't experienced that, for me it was already low to start with! It hasn't been worse lately.
