Support for Codewarrior has ceased long back. It had been replaced by Carbide.c++ There are two versions available there depending on your SDK you can choose

Yes..If I remember correctly you can do it with older version of Carbide.c++ (Thats the reason why there are 2 versions available in the downloads)

Please note : Its best to discuss these things in the forum rather than private messages that you attempted to send. The reason being, if somebody is having same problem as you, they can read the solutions too...which they would not be able to if we finished out discussion in private..right?

Resources above-tools and download leads to a page where you can search for find more tools...which eventually leads to https://www.developer.nokia.com/Deve...ian_C++/Tools/

Unfortunately not. Carbide.c++ v3.x does not support S60 3rd noFP and FP1, that is why v2.7 is available. However the last Carbide.c++ supporting S60 2nd edition was Carbide.c++ v2.0 with a hack, and real support ceased with v1.x.
There was an out-of-archives download on https://www.developer.nokia.com/info...807624c94.html, but I can not access it now. Maybe it is a temporary problem, you can try it later.

It may be worth pointing out that this is supposed to be the Chinese discussion board, and it seems to be rather dead now. http://www.developer.nokia.com/Commu....php?6-Symbian is the English one, and while it is dying too, there is still way more activity (meaning you can get faster replies).

Thanks for correcting with the versions...its been a while and seems like the specifics are fading away

    while it is dying too

    https://www.developer.nokia.com/info...807624c94.html is working fine now

Support is ceased means there wont be further development to newer versions of carbide. But what is already there works as it used to,And this version of 1.2 works just like what 1.2 used to.Do not expect the features of 3.x version there.

I think this Carbide C++ http://www.developer.nokia.com/info/...807624c94.html download is broken . So which version should I download now for s60 v2 ??

Yes it seems to be broken. I do not have any other official places that I can know of, but if I google for carbide.c++ 1.2 version download, I see a few places (non-nokia), I have not tried though, so its at your own risk. But thats the version you need for S60 V2 (as repeated above)

Sorry for the confusion, I meant that Carbide.c++ v1.x (preferably v1.2) are the versions supporting S60 2nd edition. Unfortunately I can not suggest any reliable source for getting such Carbide release, but it is probably available on the Internet as Neil suggests. Although the link is broken, at least there is a filename (carbide.c++_v1.2.2.5.zip).
